Greek Catholic Annunciation Society
Since its establishment, the center has provided maternal and child health care and general health services for all needy people. During 53 years, the center managed to render these services to tens of thousands of women and children, and established very important preventive and curative health services.
The purpose of the visit: To look at future funding after the Pandemic. The year 2019 they supported the Remedial Education Program, the year 2020 they supported the Nursery. Now we are going to submit a new proposal for this year.
The other purpose is to introduce the new Lieutenant of the Belgium knights Chevalier Damien de Laminne Bex to the beneficiaries of the Knights.
They met with the President of the Society and the Executive Director of the Society.
They were impressed of the work of the society and are willing to resume funding for the coming years.
In March 2022 a New Baord was elected. The Board consists of nine members from the parish who volunteer to help the society in implementing its activities.
The Elections took place under the supervision of The Union of the Charitable Societies / Jerusalem, The Bishop of the Greek Catholic (Melkite) Patriarchate in Jerusalem, His Excellency Yasser Ayyash and our Mukhtar Mr. Wassef Daher.
A visit from St. Lazarus Order/ USA to our Center in 2019. St. Lazarus are the main donors for our Society. A group of thirty people from all over the States of the United States of America visited the center of the Greek Catholic Annunciation Society.
